Author and artist Seraph Abell was born and raised in Virginia. They have a bachelor's degree Asian Studies with a minor in Japanese. They are autistic and ADHD, referred to as an auDHDer, and they are aromantic, asexual, and non-binary.

When they are not drawing, or writing, they are playing Final Fantasy 14, reading, and learning Japanese, Spanish, and Arabic.
